Begin to chant "Sat Nam" in a constant rhythm about eight times per ten seconds. As you chant the sound "Sat" [which rhymes with "but"] pull the navel point all the way towards the spine. On the "Nam" relax the belly. Continue at least three minutes, then inhale and squeeze all the muscles tightly pulling the energy up the spine. Relax completely on your back at least three minutes.

satkriya2 The benefits of this kriya are numerous. It improves general physical health since all the internal organs receive a gentle rhythmic massage. It is excellent for digestion and the circulatory system. Do not practice this kriya if you have high blood pressure or severe heart disease without the approval of a physican.
